Eggnog French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 Slices of Bread
- 1 to 1 ½ Cup of Eggnog
- 2 Eggs
- 1 ½ Tsp McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
- Butter
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add your eggnog and eggs that have been whisked.
- In the same bowl add the vanilla extract, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
- *Tip: Eggnog is already sweet- so there’s no need to add sugar. You may add a pinch of cinnamon, but you don’t really need to.
- Stir everything together until well blended.
- On medium-high heat, in a skillet add some butter and allow it to melt.
- Take a slice of bread and dip it into the eggnog mixture quickly, then add the bread to the skillet.
- Cook the bread on one side until it’s a nice golden-brown color, then flip and continue to cook the other side. (It only takes a minute or two for the bread to brown).
- Repeat the bread & eggnog dipping process until all the French toast is cooked.
- Once done, add powdered sugar and maple syrup to your Eggnog French Toast. Enjoy!
