Salt & Pepper Chicken Bites

Flavorful Pan seared chicken tossed with garlic, green onions, and scallions. This dish is Delicious & Full of Flavor! Pair with white rice or fried rice!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ Ib Chicken Boneless skinless Chicken breast or Thighs
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 to 3 Tbsps Kewpie Mayo
  • 2 Tbsps Cornstarch
  • Cup Onion Diced
  • ⅓ to ½ Cup Green Scallion Diced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic Minced
  • ½ Lemon

Method
 

  1. Prep the chicken, cut into bite size pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, and Japanese mayo.
  3. Add the corn starch & mix all the ingredients together. Allow the chicken to rest or marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Next, heat up the oil in a skillet, once the oil is hot add the chicken.
  5. Sauté or pan fry the chicken until it’s throughly cooked, stirring consistently.
  6. It should take about 15 minutes for the chicken to be fully cooked or until it’s golden brown. Note: use a thermometer if you’re unsure about doneness.
  7. Then, Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken. Add the diced onion, green scallion, and garlic & sauté for 2 to 4 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately over rice & enjoy!
