such a fulfilling sweet and savory dish! If you love Hawaiian pizza like I do-

give this yummy flatbread pizza a try. You will not be disappointed.

The flavor is amazing & delicious!

My Hawaiian flatbread pizza recipe is such a crowd pleaser. The roasted garlic Tandoori Naan flatbread, pizza sauce, toppings, and 3 cheese Italian cheese blend make this pizza dish super cheesy and undeniably tasty. If you ask me “Yes” pineapple does go on pizza and Hawaiian pizza is one of the most underrated pizzas. But it’s so good! The flavor is bold and so amazing. You just have to give it a try and you will not be let down. It’s such a yummy pizza.

For this recipe I used Garlic Roasted Tandoori Naan bread. But you can use a plain or wheat flatbread of your choice. I like to spray a little olive or avocado oil on top of the bread before I add my toppings. You just need to drizzle a small amount & spread it over the crust. The oil helps to improve flavor, texture, and prevents sogginess. So don’t skip that part. Next, add the pizza marinara sauce. You can use as little or as much sauce to your liking. I prefer to add a little extra and like saucy pizza.

So, after you add your pizza sauce, you can add the cheese. I love the Organic Valley 3 Cheese Organic Thick Cut Shredded Italian Cheese Blend. It’s one of my favorites and it’s so delicious for pizza. Make sure you give a nice coating of cheese for your flatbread, then proceed with the toppings. For my Hawaiian flatbread pizzas, I usually top it off with Black Forest ham, pepperoni, bacon, diced jalapeños pepper (or bell pepper), and bacon. Now you can omit bacon if you don’t want that as a topping. And if you can’t find Black Forest ham, just use Canadian bacon as a substitute. And we can’t forget to add diced pineapple.

The diced pineapple makes Hawaiian pizza such a Chef’s kiss. It’s the most important ingredient. You can use canned or fresh diced pineapple, whatever you have on hand. I like to bake my flatbread pizza in the oven between 350° and 375° degrees. Usually, it takes about 12 to 15 minutes. But I make sure to keep an eye on the pizza because I don’t want the flatbread crust to be overcooked and hard, unless you’re going for the crunchy crust. Once the Hawaiian flatbread pizza is done, feel free to add toppings such as crushed red pepper flakes.
