The Best French Toast Recipe
Add your favorite toppings like powdered sugar, banana slices, whipped cream, or a variety of fresh berries.

- 8 slices Bread (White bread, challah, or brioche)
- ¼ to ½ cup Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 ½ tsp Vanilla
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp Brown sugar
- Butter
- Maple Syrup
- Toppings: fruits, powdered sugar, and whip cream.
In a medium bowl add the milk, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, sugar, and stir all the ingredients together
In a skillet on medium high heat, add some butter and allow it to melt.
Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture and then place into the skillet.
Fry the bread slices until you get a nice golden-brown color on one side, then flip the bread over to brown the other side.
Once the French toast is done and has a nice golden-brown color, remove from the pan and set aside.
Repeat the process as necessary.
Serve with warm maple syrup and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
