Seared Steak:
Prep the steak beforehand. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Season the meat to your liking with the dry spices.
Over medium high heat, drizzle some olive in a skillet & allow the oil to get hot.
Add the steak to the skillet and sear for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until browned.
Note: cooking time will vary due to thickness of steak, and doneness is based on your cooking preference.
Once the steak is almost done, add a few pieces of butter & fresh garlic.
Baste the steak for a few seconds.
Remove from heat & allow the steak to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
Cheesy Spinach Eggs:
Crack the eggs in a medium bowl.
Add a splash of half & half to help make the eggs fluffy.
Whisk the eggs and half & half together until smooth/combined.
Over medium heat, add some butter or olive oil to a skillet.
Once the butter melts or when the oil gets hot- add in the spinach.
Sauté the spinach for a few seconds or until it starts to wilt down some.
Next, add the whisked eggs into the skillet.
Allow the eggs to set or cook for a few seconds without stirring.
Continue cooking over medium-low heat, folding and stirring the eggs every few seconds.
Add shredded cheese to the eggs & mix in until the cheese melts.
Once the eggs are done you can season with salt and/or black pepper for taste.
Serve the seared steak & eggs immediately. Enjoy!
