Steak Baked Potato with Cajun Butter Sauce

Ingredients
  

2 Servings
Baked Potato:
  • 2 Russet Potatoes
  • Olive oil or Avocado oil
  • Salt For taste
  • Pepper For taste
Steak:
  • 1 Ribeye Steak
  • Olive oil or Avocado oil
  • Salt For taste
  • Pepper For taste
  • Garlic & Herb or Garlic Powder For taste
Cajun Butter Sauce:
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp Butter
  • ½ Cup Half & Half or Heavy Cream or Whipping cream
  • Cup Parmesan cheese
  • Cajun seasoning Salt-Free For taste
  • Pinch of Sazon For taste
  • ½ Tbsp Lemon juice
  • Onion & Herb Salt-Free For taste
  • Garlic & Herb Salt-Free For taste
  • Seasoned Pepper For taste
  • Pinch of Parsley

Method
 

Baked Potato:
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F to 400°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Clean & scrub the potatoes beforehand.
  2. Pierce the potatoes with a fork, poking a few holes throughout potato. Place the potatoes in pan.
  3. Drizzle oil over the potatoes, sprinkle a little salt/pepper, and rub ingredients onto potato.
  4. Bake uncovered for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes. (Or bake until the potatoes are fork tender and skin is crisp.)
  5. **Note: Bake potatoes uncovered, you don’t need to wrap them in aluminum foil.
  6. Slice potatoes open when done and set aside.
Steak:
  1. Prep the steak (You can cut into bite size pieces.)
  2. Season with oil, salt, pepper, and garlic/Herb Seasoning. Rub ingredients onto meat.
  3. In a skillet, add a small drizzle of oil or cooking spray over medium high to high heat.
  4. Once the pan is hot, add the steak bites and allow the steak to cook to your liking or until well done.
  5. When the steak is about done add a little butter and coat the steak in the melted butter.
  6. Once done, set aside.
Cajun Butter Sauce:
  1. In a pan over medium low to low heat, melt the butter and add the half & half or heavy cream.
  2. Add the seasonings & Parmesan cheese, mix until the cheese has melted.
  3. Do a taste test of your sauce & adjust to your liking.
  4. Remove from heat and serve immediately with the potatoes.
