Make the best garlic spinach in under 10 minutes! These super greens are Full of flavor and absolutely delicious. You can add these tasty garlicky greens to your favorite protein dishes such as pan seared steak, fish, or rotisserie style chicken.
Optional:Pinch of Lemon Juice(Squeeze a pinch of fresh lemon juice over spinach once done)
Instructions
Prep the spinach beforehand. Rinse well under cold water to make sure it's clean. Spin it dry in a salad spinner.
Over medium heat, add the olive to a pot or skillet. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic and sauté for a few seconds or until it becomes fragrant. (Keep an eye on the garlic so that you don’t burn it).
Next, add all the spinach to the pot. Season the spinach with the dry seasonings and toss everything together.
Stir the spinach consistently, it will begin to wilt down. It should take about a minute or two for the spinach to wilt down.
Allow the spinach to cook until it’s at the desired texture you like.
Once the spinach is done, turn off the stove and remove from heat.
Optional: You may squeeze a pinch of lemon juice over the spinach once done. But this is completely optional.
