- Green Beans 12oz bag of fresh green beans
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil or Butter
- ½ Seasoned Black Pepper
- ¼ Cajun seasoning or Salt
- 3 to 4 Cloves of Garlic Minced
- 1 tsp Low-sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp McCormick Salt-Free Garlic & Herb
- 1 tsp McCormick Salt-Free Onion & Herb
In a skillet, heat up the olive oil over medium high heat. Once the oil is hot add the green beans.
Sauté the green beans for about 4 minutes.
Next, add the fresh garlic and dry seasonings. Mix or stir everything together.
Reduce the heat to medium & cover the skillet with a lid.
Allow the green beans to cook for an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp and tender.
**Note: Don’t overcook the beans or they will lose their bright green color and have brown spots.
Once the green beans are done, they should be tender and crisp. If they’re mushy they were overcooked and if they’re tough, they were undercooked.
