Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe

This Succulent Garlic Butter Shrimp recipe is the perfect appetizer! If you want to take this delicious shrimp recipe up a notch you can turn it into a full meal! Serve over a bed of rice, pasta, French bread, or garlic toast.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • Old bay garlic and herb (for taste)
  • Lemon pepper seasoning (for taste)
  • 5 to 6 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Pinch of Garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1/2 Fresh lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Clean & prep the shrimp (peel/devein).
  2. Season the shrimp with the old bay garlic & herb and lemon pepper seasoning.
  3. On medium high heat, add some olive oil & butter to a skillet.
  4. Once the butter has melted, add the shrimp to the skillet.
  5. Allow the shrimp to cook on one side for 2 minutes.
  6. Then flip the shrimp over and cook 1 to 2 more minutes, or until the shrimp is fully cooked.
  7. Add the fresh garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a pinch of garlic powder.
  8. Stir everything together and allow the garlic to become fragrant. (Cook for a few seconds to avoid burning the garlic)
  9. Once the garlic butter shrimp is done, garnish with fresh parsley.
  10. Serve the garlic butter shrimp with French bread or over a bed of rice or pasta. Enjoy.
