Frozen Pina Colada

Such a tropical treat in a delicious frozen slushy! Filled with rum to give a nice kick! Garnish with fresh pineapple, Maraschino cherries, or even strawberries.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 to 8 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 3 oz Cream of Coconut
  • 1 ½ to 2 oz Rum
  • 1 to 1 ½ cup Ice
  • Optional: ¼ Cup Frozen pineapple chunks

Note: You can use Light or Dark Rum, I recommend Silver Rum. Bacardi silver rum is a good choice.  

Instructions
 

  • In a blender add the ice, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and rum. Optional: if you have frozen pineapple chunks on hand, you can add that as well.
  • Cover with the lid. Blend the ingredients for a few seconds until smooth or until you get the consistency that you like.
  • Pour into chilled glasses.
  • Garnish with pineapple, Maraschino cherries, or even strawberries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
