Frozen Pina Colada

Such a tropical treat in a delicious frozen slushy! Filled with rum to give a nice kick! Garnish with fresh pineapple, Maraschino cherries, or even strawberries.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 to 8 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 3 oz Cream of Coconut
  • 1 ½ to 2 oz Rum
  • 1 to 1 ½ cup Ice
  • Optional: ¼ Cup Frozen pineapple chunks
Note: You can use Light or Dark Rum, I recommend Silver Rum. Bacardi silver rum is a good choice.  

Method
 

  1. In a blender add the ice, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and rum. Optional: if you have frozen pineapple chunks on hand, you can add that as well.
  2. Cover with the lid. Blend the ingredients for a few seconds until smooth or until you get the consistency that you like.
  3. Pour into chilled glasses.
  4. Garnish with pineapple, Maraschino cherries, or even strawberries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
