  • Olive oil
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • Steak sauce (optional)

Instructions

  • In a skillet on medium-high heat, drizzle a little bit of olive oil to the pan and allow the oil to get hot.
  • Next, add the sliced onion and sauté the onions for 2 to 4 minutes or until tender.
  • Once the onions are soft, remove them from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet add some butter and allow it to melt.
  • Then, add the sliced steak to the skillet and season the meat with the spices.
  • Sauté the steak slices and continue to cook the steak to your liking. (2 to 4 minutes)
  • Once the steak is nicely browned, set it to the aside.
  • Feel free to toast your bagel, you can toast it in some butter in a different skillet on medium heat. (Alternative: toast the bagel in the toaster, then add some butter to the bagel).
  • Next, cook your eggs in some melted butter. You may scramble the eggs or fry them - over easy or sunny side up. (Optional: you may season the eggs with a little salt & pepper)
  • Layer your bagel: Add a cheese slice, the steak filling, onions, then more cheese on top. (You can place the bagel under a warmer to melt the cheese)
  • You can serve your steak, egg, and cheese bagel with steakhouse sauce or a sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
