  • 1 Sazon Packet
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 small Red Onion (chopped)

Method

  1. Clean & prep the beef stew meat beforehand than set aside.
  2. Clean and chop up the veggies as well.
  3. In a small bowl, prepare your seasoning mixture. Add all the dry spice ingredients & stir together.
  4. In a medium or large bowl add the beef stew, chopped red bell peppers, & red onion.
  5. Coat the meat & veggies with the dry seasoning mixture.
  6. Next, squeeze the juice of 1/2 Lime onto the meat & veggies.
  7. Mix everything together & allow the meat to marinate for at least 1 Hour. (Overnight is even better)
  8. In a skillet on medium high heat, add some olive oil.
  9. Once the oil becomes hot, add the beef stew & veggies to the pot.
  10. Sauté for 5 to 8 minutes or until the meat has browned.
  11. Then, add the water to the pot and allow the liquid to come to a boil.
  12. Once the liquid comes to a bowl, add the tomato paste & stir it into the gravy until it dissolves.
  13. Allow your beef stew to cook for 45 Minutes to 1 Hour.
  14. Be sure to stir the beef stew halfway through cooking time and check the liquid levels. (Add more water if you need to)
  15. Once the stew is fully cooked, serve with a bowl of rice or creamy mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
