Delicious Spanish Style Beef Stew Recipe

A tender beef stew that is bold in taste and has deep flavor from a variety of spices like adobo, cumin, & oregano.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Ibs Beef stew meat
  • 1 Tbs McCormick All-Purpose Seasoning (The garlic, onion, black pepper, & Sea Salt blend)
  • 1 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Adobo
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 1 Sazon Packet
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 small Red Onion (chopped)

Instructions
 

  • Clean & prep the beef stew meat beforehand than set aside.
  • Clean and chop up the veggies as well.
  • In a small bowl, prepare your seasoning mixture. Add all the dry spice ingredients & stir together.
  • In a medium or large bowl add the beef stew, chopped red bell peppers, & red onion.
  • Coat the meat & veggies with the dry seasoning mixture.
  • Next, squeeze the juice of 1/2 Lime onto the meat & veggies.
  • Mix everything together & allow the meat to marinate for at least 1 Hour. (Overnight is even better)
  • In a skillet on medium high heat, add some olive oil.
  • Once the oil becomes hot, add the beef stew & veggies to the pot.
  • Sauté for 5 to 8 minutes or until the meat has browned.
  • Then, add the water to the pot and allow the liquid to come to a boil.
  • Once the liquid comes to a bowl, add the tomato paste & stir it into the gravy until it dissolves.
  • Allow your beef stew to cook for 45 Minutes to 1 Hour.
  • Be sure to stir the beef stew halfway through cooking time and check the liquid levels. (Add more water if you need to)
  • Once the stew is fully cooked, serve with a bowl of rice or creamy mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
