First, allow a pot of water to come to a boil on high heat.
Then, add a little bit of salt to the water & the penne pasta. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
Once the pasta is done, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
On medium-high heat, add 2 Tbs of butter to a pan and allow it to melt.
Add the sliced bell peppers and sauté the peppers for 3 to 5 minutes.
Add some minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 to 2 minutes).
Next, whisk in the whipping cream and stir consistently.
Add the dry spices and the Jerk seasoning to the sauce.
Add the mozzarella & Parmesan cheese to the sauce.
Turn the heat to low heat.
Whisk or stir the sauce consistently until the cheese melts.
Allow the sauce to simmer for a minute or two.
Don’t overcook the sauce, you don’t want it to thicken too much.
Once the cheese has melted, do a taste test. (If you need to add additional seasonings, do so currently)
Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss into the jerk sauce.
Turn the stove off and remove the pasta from the heat.
Serve immediately, Enjoy!
*You can serve your pasta with pan seared steak, shrimp, or chicken.
