Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

Whip up your French toast by serving it with sliced fresh fruit such as strawberries and/or bananas, with some warm maple syrup drizzled on top

Ingredients
  

  • 8 Brioche Bread
  • 1/2 cup Milk or Half & Half
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 to 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • Maple Syrup

Optional Toppings: Add your favorite fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, or bananas, powdered sugar, or/and whip cream.  

Instructions
 

  • Prep the brioche bread, cut into thin or thick slices and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl add your milk, whisked eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, sugar, salt and stir all the ingredients until well blended.
  • Melt a few pieces of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture, turning to coat evenly on both sides and then place into the skillet.
  • Fry the bread slices until cooked through and browned. Flip halfway through cooking time to cook both sides. It may take up to 2 to 4 minutes, but you should get a nice golden-brown color on each side.
  • Once the French toast is completely cooked, remove from the skillet and repeat the process until all the bread is cooked.
  • Serve with syrup and Enjoy.
