Buffalo Wings Recipe

Buffalo wings are the perfect party go to snack or appetizer. Pair these wings with your favorite wing dip & celery; or make it a complete meal with a side of fresh hot French fries.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib Chicken Wings (wings and drummettes split, & wingtips removed)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper or Lemon black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp All Purpose Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt-Free Onion & Herb seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder (aluminum free)
  • ½ tsp Cornstarch
Buffalo Sauce:
  • ⅓ to ½ cup Franks hot sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp Salt Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F
  2. Clean & prep the wings. Split the wings and drummettes & remove the wingtips.
  3. Remove the excess moisture from the chicken wings with a paper towel.
  4. In a large bowl, season the chicken with the dry spices.
  5. Next, Thoroughly Coat the chicken with baking powder (aluminum free) & cornstarch.
  6. Note: Use a baking pan that has a wire rack. Tip: place baking rack on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper or foil to catch drippings.
  7. Coat the wire rack with cooking spray and
  8. Place the chicken on the baking pan with a wire rack.
  9. Bake uncovered for 1 hour, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping every 25 minutes.
  10. In a skillet or pan, over medium heat melt the butter.
  11. Add the hot sauce and honey and stir on medium heat.
  12. Optional: you may add a pinch of salt-free garlic & herb seasoning to the sauce.
  13. Do a taste test & make any adjustments if needed.
  14. Then toss the chicken wings into the sauce until fully coated.
  15. Serve with your favorite side dish or dipping sauce. Enjoy!
