Ingredients
- 8 slices Bread (White bread, challah, or brioche)
- ¼ to ½ cup Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 ½ tsp Vanilla
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp Brown sugar
- Butter
- Maple Syrup
- Toppings: fruits, powdered sugar, and whip cream.
Instructions
- In a medium bowl add the milk, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, sugar, and stir all the ingredients together
- In a skillet on medium high heat, add some butter and allow it to melt.
- Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture and then place into the skillet.
- Fry the bread slices until you get a nice golden-brown color on one side, then flip the bread over to brown the other side.
- Once the French toast is done and has a nice golden-brown color, remove from the pan and set aside.
- Repeat the process as necessary.
- Serve with warm maple syrup and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
