Honey & balsamic are two pantry items that make for a great marinade, and it is perfect on chicken. The flavors mesh so well together, and this dinner recipe can be made in no time. A dinner recipe that requires little effort, and just a few ingredients. My Rosemary honey balsamic chicken is baked to perfection with a nice crisp to finish it off. The thyme, Italian seasoning, and rosemary make the honey balsamic marinade a good base and the seasonings take it up a notch to perfection. The seasonings come together to make this dish phenomenal.
You will love this delicious baked chicken recipe.
Sweet, savory, and sticky-
it will have you licking the plate.
If you want an easy chicken recipe to make, look no further. This is a super easy weekday meal or even a lazy night meal, that you can whip up in no time. Pair this great tasting dish with some pilaf rice and veggies. If you’re a fan of bread, throw in some fresh warm buttery dinner rolls as well. I promise- You can make the perfect dinner meal in no time and the family will enjoy this good tasting meal.
For this honey balsamic chicken recipe: You can use bone-in chicken thighs, legs, or wings for this dish. I do like to marinate the chicken but it’s completely optional. Especially if you don’t have the time and just want something super quick to make for dinner. I love to marinate the meat when I can because I feel like it enhances the flavor. I love food that’s flavorful and delicious. But if you’re running short on time, don’t sweat it. You will still get good tasting Rosemary honey balsamic chicken. Feel free to adjust the sauce to your liking.
Now One thing I like to do while the chicken is cooking, is baste it with the juices/marinade sauce. If you noticed that the chicken is browning too much or has a charred look, you can cover the pan with aluminum foil to prevent burning the chicken. When it comes down to the last few minutes of cooking time, I like to put the chicken under the broiler to give it a nice crisp. It’s not crunchy, but it has the perfect crisp when you place it under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes. Once the chicken is done pair it with rice and/or steamed veggies. I promise this is a recipe that everyone will enjoy! I hope you like it as much as I do.
