Well sangria is a popular drink that has origins & roots from Spain. It’s a red wine drink that has so many variations and pink Moscato sangria is one of them. According to history, Sangria is associated with Spain and thanks to its appearance at the Spanish pavilion of the 1964 World’s Fair- it was introduced to America. Over the years, this tasty drink has gained massive popularity in the US.
In today’s society- most consider this popular drink to be a great tasting wine punch. And around the holidays it’s the perfect treat for food/drink festivities. There is no wrong or right way to make sangria. Why? – because There are so many twists and variations – you can make any adaptions you want.

Pink Moscato Sangria
Ingredients
- 1 Bottle of Pink Moscato
- 1 cup orange juice
- ¼ cup sugar or triple sec (if you don’t want to add sugar you can omit)
- 1 Orange cut into slices
- 1 Apple cut into slices
- ¼ to ½ cup Lime & lemon cut into slices
- 1 cup Strawberries cut into slices
Optional Ingredients:
- Ice
- ¼ cup Brandy or vodka
- 1 can seltzer or club soda
Instructions
- Clean & prep the fruit beforehand. Slice the fruit into smaller pieces.
- In a large pitcher add the sliced fruit: oranges, apples, lemon/lime, and strawberries.
- Add the wine, orange juice, and sugar.
- Stir all the ingredients together.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve, preferably 2 hours.
- When ready to serve, pour into iced cups.
- Optional:
- You can top off the pink Moscato with brandy &/or seltzer before serving. Note: Add the lime seltzer or club soda just before serving so that it does not go flat.
