this dazzling rich green cocktail is so yummy.

The juices from the kiwi and cucumber mesh well together to make this sweetened earthy cocktail. It’s not too sweet and not too savory. For this recipe I like to use fresh cucumber and kiwi juice. You can use a blender or juicer to make the fresh juice. For the cucumber juice if you’re up to it- feel free to grate the cucumbers and squeeze out the fresh juice. But I prefer to use a blender- just toss in a little bit of water with the cucumbers & kiwi & strain the excess pulp over a bowl/cup. So there’s no need to use any fancy gadgets, a blender works just fine.

When it comes to the kiwi, try to use ones that are sweet and ripe. I prefer to remove the skin from the kiwis, but it’s personal preference. Remove the skin & chop the kiwis/cucumbers. Toss in a blender with a little bit of water and blend until you get a smooth consistency. You will need to strain the juice and remove excess pulp. Once everything is juiced, then you can proceed on perfecting the perfect kiwi cucumber margarita.

For this recipe, I like to use the kiwi infused syrup. I feel like it enhances the flavor and gives this cocktail its sweetness. It’s basically a simple syrup but kiwi flavored. If you don’t have kiwi syrup on hand, use simple syrup or some type of sweetener to balance the cocktail out. But I feel that you shouldn’t skip out on the flavor of a kiwi infused syrup. Unless you want a cocktail that isn’t sweet at all and you want the earthy plain taste. So, I recommit not skipping out on the kiwi syrup. It helps to mellow out the flavors from the kiwi and cucumber.

This recipe is really simple to make. It’s something vibrant and different, but it tastes so delicious. Not too savory, but not too sweet. The flavors mesh so well. It’s so light & refreshing! This is the perfect kiwi cucumber margarita to try. Feel free to make any adjustments if needed. But I love this recipe as is, it’s so good!

Ingredients
  

For 1 serving
  • ¾ oz Fresh Cucumber Juice
  • 1 oz Fresh Kiwi juice
  • ½ oz Fresh Lime juice
  • 1 ½ to 2 oz Kiwi infused syrup
  • 1 to 1½ oz Bacardi Rum
  • Ice

Method
 

  1. Prep the kiwi & cucumbers beforehand. You can Remove the skin from the kiwis, and cucumber. It’s personal preference.
  2. Add the chopped cucumber and kiwi to a blender. Add a little bit of water and blend all the ingredients together.
  3. Strain the liquid into a bowl or cup, removing the excess pulp. Use the fresh juice to make your cocktail.
  4. Next, Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Cover with a lid, shake and strain in the serving cups.
  5. Garnish with fresh sliced kiwi, Enjoy!
