This wholesome greens beans recipe goes well with about any dish you decide to make. Steak, chicken, pork, or fish- this green bean recipe is perfect and my go-to veggie side dish any day of the week. To take the flavor up a notch, I like to add a small drizzle of low sodium soy sauce alongside the fresh minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Plus, the McCormick salt free garlic & herb as well as the McCormick salt free onion and herb adds such excellent taste. The green beans are well seasoned to perfection and full of amazing flavor. It’s perfect for adults and a bonus when trying to get the kids to eat their veggies too. The green beans are sautéed in olive oil for a nice tender & crisp texture. If you want to use butter instead of olive oil, that works great too. The greens beans are cooked to perfection! These garlic green beans are cooked to a tender crisp- Not hard or mushy. These garlic green beans have such a vibrant green color with golden bits of garlic.

Fresh green beans are the absolute best!!! And I wholeheartedly recommend using fresh ingredients for this recipe. If you can – try to avoid using the canned stuff or frozen green beans. Now if the frozen green beans were prepped and blanched beforehand- give it a go. But using fresh ingredients is always better and this recipe taste so much better when using fresh ingredients. This recipe can be made in under 15 minutes, and it doesn’t take too long or too much effort either. For this recipe, I add the McCormick salt free garlic & herb and McCormick salt free onion & herb for extra flavor; but feel free to omit if you want to keep it extra simple or if you simply don’t have those ingredients in the pantry. I promise – You will still have some great tasting green beans to enjoy with your meal.

Feel free to adjust and make any changes to this recipe. Why? – because There is no set way when it comes to cooking. So, be free and versatile to try new things. I absolutely love this recipe and cook it almost every week to help get my veggie intake. It’s a simple recipe to follow and doesn’t take too long to cook. You can have perfect green beans in under 15 minutes without breaking a sweat. This recipe is so easy, and it’s packed with great flavor. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!
