If you’re making cocktails for a group- I recommend you triple up this recipe and if anything, you may have to make large quantities in batches. Only thing to be concerned with is serving them immediately because it’s a cold frozen drink and will melt quickly. You can serve in chilled glasses as well. Frozen Pina Colada
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 oz Pineapple Juice
- 3 oz Cream of Coconut
- 1 ½ to 2 oz Rum
- 1 to 1 ½ cup Ice
- Optional: ¼ Cup Frozen pineapple chunks
Note: You can use Light or Dark Rum, I recommend Silver Rum. Bacardi silver rum is a good choice.
Instructions
- In a blender add the ice, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and rum. Optional: if you have frozen pineapple chunks on hand, you can add that as well.
- Cover with the lid. Blend the ingredients for a few seconds until smooth or until you get the consistency that you like.
- Pour into chilled glasses.
- Garnish with pineapple, Maraschino cherries, or even strawberries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
