Easy Breakfast Steak Tacos Recipe

Tacos for breakfast? Well, I have the perfect breakfast recipe to share.

Thinly sliced steak is well-seasoned and pan seared until it’s perfectly browned. Seasoned with steakhouse sauce & a couple of spices, allow the steak to marinate a few minutes. These breakfast steak tacos are full of flavor and take little effort to make.

Everyone will love them, and it will become a family favorite. Make your morning breakfast delicious with ease. These yummy street style tacos are filled with steak, eggs, veggies and cheese. Great for a weekend breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Either way- the whole family will enjoy them!

Feel free to top the tacos with lots of cheese, guacamole, salsa, ketchup, hot sauce or your favorite taco toppings. I hope you guys enjoy this delicious taco recipe.

Easy Breakfast Steak Tacos Recipe

Make your morning breakfast with ease. These yummy street style tacos are filled with tender and flavorful steak, eggs, veggies and cheese.
Servings: 2 people

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib sirloin or ribeye steak (Thinly sliced)
  • 1 small green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 4 to 6 Street Tortillas (Corn or flour)
  • 1/2 Tbs Olive oil
  • 1 tbs Butter
  • 4 Tbs Steak sauce
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoned Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 4 Eggs
  • Splash of Half & half
Toppings for tacos: Cheddar cheese (shredded), guacamole, salsa, ketchup, hot sauce or your favorite taco toppings. 

Method
 

  1. On medium heat in a skillet, heat up the tortillas for a few seconds on each side.
  2. Then remove the tortillas from the skillet and set aside for later.
  3. Tip: To keep the tortillas warm- use a tortilla warmer or wrap the tortillas in foil, then stick them in the oven.
  4. Cut the steak into thin slices, then place the meat in a medium bowl to season.
  5. Drizzle the olive oil over your steak.
  6. Season the meat with the Steak sauce, Garlic Salt, Seasoned Black Pepper, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder.
  7. Allow the meat to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. On medium high heat add some butter to a skillet and allow it to melt.
  9. Add the steak to the skillet and sauté for 4 to 8 minutes.
  10. Note: Cooking time will vary and is based on preference.
  11. For medium-rare the thermometer should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit or until desired doneness
  12. Once the steak is almost done, push the steak to one side of the skillet.
  13. In the same skillet, add the chopped bell peppers and sauté for about 3 minutes or until tender.

  14. Prepare the scrambled eggs by cracking the eggs in a small or medium bowl.
  15. Add a splash of half & half or milk. Beat the eggs with a fork/whisk.
  16. On medium heat, melt some butter in a different skillet to cook the eggs.
  17. Add the eggs to the skillet and cook the eggs properly.
  18. Once the eggs are done, season with salt and black pepper for taste. (Optional: You may add your favorite cheese like cheddar, Parmesan, or mozzarella to the scrambled eggs).

  19. Next, prepare the tacos. Divide and spoon the eggs into the tortillas.
  20. Divide the steak and bell pepper filling among the tortillas.
  21. Add your favorite toppings on top of your tacos.
  22. Toppings: shredded Cheese, guacamole, salsa, ketchup, hot sauce or your favorite taco toppings.
  23. Serve while hot. Enjoy!
