This croissant French toast recipe is absolutely delicious. Just pair it with some cheesy scrambled eggs and crispy bacon for a fulfilling meal to get the day going. Plus, don’t forget to throw in a cup of coffee, orange juice, or water to wash this tasty, yummy meal down. For this recipe I used the LA BOULANGERIE Croissant Bread, and it was really good.
It’s a great tasting bread for sandwiches as well. I was able to find this brand in Whole Foods, but if you’re able to find a different brand at your local grocery store- give it a try. Now I did add a lil twist to making this French toast recipe by adding a splash of spiced rum. But that is completely optional, you do not have to add it if you don’t want to. Your Croissant French toast will still turn out delicious and fulfilling.

Croissant French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
- 10 Slices Croissant Bread Recommend: LA BOULANGERIE Croissant Bread
- 3 Tbsps Butter
- 3 to 4 Eggs
- 1 Cup Milk or Half & Half
- ½ tsp Vanilla
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- Pinch of Sea Salt
- Optional: Splash of Spiced Rum
- Maple Syrup
- Toppings: Berries and whipped cream
Instructions
- First, Add most of the ingredients to a large bowl. Crack a few eggs, add the milk or half and half, vanilla, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and sea salt. The splash of spiced rum is completely optional.
- Whisk or stir everything together until well blended, then set aside.
- In a skillet over medium high heat, add some butter and allow it to melt. Once the butter is sizzling, dip the croissant bread in the milk mixture and shake off excess.
- Add the bread to the skillet and allow it to cook through. Flip halfway through cooking time. You may need to cook in batches.
- Once it’s done, The French toast will have a deep golden-brown color and should be fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and keep warm. Continue to cook the remaining bread in batches until all the toast is done.
- Plate the toast. Top with berries, whipped cream, and maple syrup.
