Crispy Buffalo Wings Recipe

These oven baked crispy wings are tossed in a delicious buffalo wing sauce that only takes a minute or two to make. My delicious buffalo wing sauce only requires a few ingredients and can be adjusted to your liking.

Buffalo Wings Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Ib Chicken Wings (wings and drummettes split, & wingtips removed)
- 1 tsp Black pepper or Lemon black pepper
- 1 Tbsp All Purpose Seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt-Free Onion & Herb seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning
- 2 tsp Baking Powder (aluminum free)
- ½ tsp Cornstarch
Buffalo Sauce:
- ⅓ to ½ cup Franks hot sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp Salt Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400˚F
- Clean & prep the wings. Split the wings and drummettes & remove the wingtips.
- Remove the excess moisture from the chicken wings with a paper towel.
- In a large bowl, season the chicken with the dry spices.
- Next, Thoroughly Coat the chicken with baking powder (aluminum free) & cornstarch.
- Note: Use a baking pan that has a wire rack. Tip: place baking rack on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper or foil to catch drippings.
- Coat the wire rack with cooking spray and
- Place the chicken on the baking pan with a wire rack.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping every 25 minutes.
- In a skillet or pan, over medium heat melt the butter.
- Add the hot sauce and honey and stir on medium heat.
- Optional: you may add a pinch of salt-free garlic & herb seasoning to the sauce.
- Do a taste test & make any adjustments if needed.
- Then toss the chicken wings into the sauce until fully coated.
- Serve with your favorite side dish or dipping sauce. Enjoy!
