A roasted chicken recipe
that you will want to make time and time again.
It’s so good and full of flavor.
For this recipe I love to use chicken legs, but feel free to use chicken thighs and/or wings. The flavor is phenomenal! This is one of my favorite roasted chicken recipes because the gravy is top notch. I love to take the pan juices and thicken it up to a succulent gravy to pour over the chicken. Making the chicken so moist and mouthwatering. Pair with rice, veggies, and some butter dinner rolls.
This is a bomb recipe for the whole family to enjoy. Everyone will be wanting seconds. My roasted chicken recipe is so fulfilling and yummy. The oven roasted chicken has a nice crisp and is so juicy. I love to roast or bake this chicken uncovered so that it gets that nice rich color. Placing it under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes after it’s fully cooked will give it a nice crisp. I like to roast my chicken anywhere from 375°F to 400°F, so note that the cooking time will vary. Just make sure the chicken is is perfectly cooked, and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Use a thermometer if you’re unsure of doneness.
The chicken could take anywhere from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 35 minutes to cook or longer. Just note that the cooking time will vary. Now halfway through the cooking time, I like to baste the chicken with its juices. Keep in mind that the chicken will make its own juices while cooking, but sometimes I like to add a splash of chicken broth to add extra flavor for the gravy I make stovetop. I like to thicken up the juices and make a thicker gravy, but you don’t have to. It’s completely optional.

Pair this delicious roasted chicken recipe with
rice or potatoes, sautéed veggies, and buttery dinner rolls.
This recipe is so simple and easy to make. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
