When the kids ask for McDonald’s- you can tell them we have McDonald’s at home and make these delicious juicy burgers. Yes, going out to eat is easy to do, but making a homemade burger from the comfort of your kitchen is even better. If you’re looking for a new recipe or want to whip up a simple classic cheeseburger- give this recipe a try! You will be pleasantly surprised of these yummy patties. The burgers are so good and super fulfilling.
For this classic cheeseburger recipe-
I like to season with a little
garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
I don’t measure and I just season each side lightly. No need to over season and run the risk of having a salty burger. Now you can use whatever seasonings you like and make adjustments if needed. I like to season the patties as they’re cooking. I know that Some people season the ground beef before rolling them into balls. But it’s up to you.
For the burger sauce:
You can make a homemade sauce with a mixture of ketchup, mustard, mayo, a little pickle juice or relish. Or you can buy a store-bought burger sauce. There are so many brands with many options from you to choose from. But for this recipe I I kept it simple and used a store-bought sauce. Now if you like a saucy burger, making a homemade sauce is great!
Even though I whipped up these mouthwatering burgers stovetop, you can cook these on the grill or bake them in the oven. If you decide to make them in the oven, I recommend seasoning the ground beef before forming into patties. The cooking time will vary, and it’s based on your preference. But, make sure the burger is properly cooked for safe consumption.
