Delicious Bow Tie Pasta Recipe

Seasoned ground beef, fresh garlic, onion, bell peppers, and tomato pasta sauce are combined with farfalle pasta to make the perfect dinner!

Farfalle a.k.a bow tie pasta is tossed in a hearty & meaty tomato sauce for the perfect 35-minute meal! This bow tie pasta meal is simple and quick to make, especially during hectic weeknights or weekends. Pair this dish with fresh warm garlic bread and a nice side salad; and you’ll have the perfect dinner.

If you love pasta with a great tasting meat sauce- you will love this recipe. The ground beef is well seasoned and comes together with the Farfalle pasta or butterfly noodles. The pasta shape will win the kids over, so they will absolutely fall in love with this delicious pasta dish. This meal comes together very easily & you can provide a hearty meal for everyone to enjoy in under 35 minutes. Plus, if you have a large crowd to serve- this meal comes in handy. It’s an affordable meal to make, that doesn’t require much.

This is a hearty meal that will leave everyone full and satisfied. If you want to switch things up a bit you can add Italian sausage in place of ground beef. A healthy alternative would be ground Turkey. For this recipe I sprinkled a little bit of dried basil into my pasta sauce, but you can chop up some fresh basil instead. The oregano and basil add such great flavor & is a nice touch to the sauce. In regard to your pasta sauce options- I absolutely love using the Classico Traditional Sweet Basil Pasta Sauce. It’s my go to pasta sauce & I just love the taste. It goes so well with this pasta dish. I usually add about 1/2 tsp of sugar to my tomato pasta sauce. The sugar cuts the acidity of the tomato sauce and creates an overall more balanced sauce, especially if you add fresh tomatoes to this sauce.

To top this dish off, I love to sprinkle parmesan cheese over my pasta. But you can turn this dish into a cheesy pasta dish by adding shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Add the cheese and stir it into the cooked pasta over medium heat until the cheese has melted and is well mixed into the pasta. If you love pasta like I do, you will love this recipe. Be sure to add it to your regular rotation! This is a fast and convenient dinner dish to make.
