Buttery Ribeye Steak Recipe

I have the perfect recipe on how to cook the best ribeye steaks. Why go to the steakhouse when you can whip up this delicious garlic butter ribeye steaks in the comfort of your home. These ribeye steaks are pan seared to perfection, leaving you with the best garlicky butter taste.

This recipe is truly a beautiful thing! Skip the expensive restaurant and make some good tasting and flavorful steaks at home.  All you need is a few ingredients, some good ribeye steaks, and a decent skillet. Pair these perfectly seasoned steaks with creamy mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli or asparagus.

Buttery Ribeye Steak Recipe

These ribeye steaks are pan seared to perfection, leaving you with the best garlicky butter taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 to 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Ribeye Steaks
  • 1 tsp McCormick All-Purpose seasoning (The garlic, onion, black pepper, & sea salt blend)
  • 1 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 2 to 3 tsp Butter

Instructions
 

  • Clean & prep the steak beforehand. Pat dry with paper towel.
  • Place the steaks into a large Ziplock bag or container that you can marinate the meat in.
  • Next, add the olive oil and the seasonings to the steak.
  • Rub the seasonings onto the steak.
  • Then, place the Ziplock bag or container with the steaks into the fridge. (Allow the meat to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • On medium-high heat, add some nonstick cooking spray or a small drizzle of olive oil to a skillet.
  • Once the skillet becomes hot, add the steaks to the skillet.
  • Sear the steaks on one side for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Flip the steak over and continue to sear for another 3 to 5 minutes. (Tip: Frequent turning of the steak will give you the best steak crust without overcooking).
  • Note: cooking time will vary. It depends on the thickness of the meat and your preference such as medium, well-done or medium well etc.
  • In the last few minutes of cooking time, place fresh garlic and butter around the steaks.
  • Be sure to spoon the melted butter over the steaks.
  • Once the steaks are done, serve with your favorite side dish. Enjoy!
