Welcome to Kenya’s Kitchen88! My name is Kenya Walker and I’m the creator behind the recipes you see on YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. I’m a foodie at heart and I love to cook. Food is my love language, but most importantly my creative outlet. I get my inspiration from the matriarch of my family Rosa Lee a.k.a “Grandma Bae”. She’s my main lady and played a vital role in my upbringing. Every Sunday morning you could count on Grandma Bae to have the whole house smelling good. Rather it be her famous sweet potato pies, southern fried chicken, collard greens, or her famous jug of sugared down Kool-Aid; and u best to believe she will make sure you go home with a full belly. Sunday dinner has been a big tradition in our household where everyone comes to gather and enjoy one another’s company- be it telling jokes in the kitchen and filling the room up with laughter or simply watching a movie in the family room.
My Vision:
So, who is Kenya Walker? I’m a rising entrepreneur who loves to have fun in the kitchen. I was born and raised in South Florida. I graduated from Keiser University with my Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; and I completed my Bachelor of Health Service Administration at Florida International University. Most people know me as an introvert and a quiet person; but once I come out my shell you see the funny side of me and a person who has a big heart. I’m thrilled that you took the time to stop by and check out my food blog. I hope you enjoy my recipes and have fun in the kitchen. Don’t forget to follow me on social media. New Recipes Weekly!
