It’s the perfect showstopper meal and you can make this scrumptious tasty dish in under 35 minutes. It’s bold, rich, full of flavor, and just seasoned to excellence.

If you are a pasta lover- I highly recommend you give this dish a try and do not skip over it. The creamy rich alfredo sauce is made with butter, half & half or you can use heavy whipping cream, freshly grated parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Plus, we cannot forget to season the sauce to perfection. No one wants a plain Ol alfredo sauce, so add a few seasonings to make your sauce tasty. You want a nice rich sauce that is heavenly exquisite and scrumptious in the flavor department.

Flavorful chicken breast that is pan seared in olive oil & seasoned to perfection.

For this recipe I did use chicken breast, but feel free to use boneless skinless chicken thighs. Plus, Chicken thighs will give you a lot of good flavors as well. You can season the chicken however you prefer, but I used an Italian dressing to marinate my chicken. Allow the chicken to marinate at least 10 to 15 minutes so that it can soak up those wonderful flavors. After pan searing in olive oil, right before the chicken is done- I like to add a pinch of onion & herb seasoning and garlic & herb seasoning. I feel it gives an extra boost in the flavor department. The meat was so tender and delectable but do your best to not over the chicken. And if you do- that’s ok, it will not be the end of the world. If you’re not a fan of Italian dressing, just season the chicken with salt and pepper or you can use an all-purpose chicken seasoning as well. to give the chicken an added boost, finish it off with a small squeeze of fresh lemon juice. This recipe is so simple, and you can make adjustments as needed. Feel free to add your own spin to it.

Ingredients
  

Chicken Recipe

  • 1 to 1 1/2 Ib Chicken Breast or Thighs Boneless, skinless
  • 8 to 12 oz Italian Salad Dressing
  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • Seasoned black pepper for taste
  • McCormick salt-free Onion & Herb for taste
  • McCormick salt-free Garlic & Herb for taste

Fettuccine Alfredo

  • 1 Ib Fettuccine noodles
  • 1/2 Stick butter
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 to 1 Cup Mozzarella
  • 1 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Seasoned black pepper for taste
  • McCormick salt-free Onion & Herb for taste
  • McCormick salt-free Garlic & Herb for taste

Instructions
 

Italian Chicken Recipe

  • Prep the chicken beforehand, if you are using thighs remove or trim as much fat off as you can. Pierce the chicken with a fork.
  • Place the chicken in a container or ziplock bag and pour the Italian dressing over the chicken. Coat the chicken, cover, and allow the chicken to marinate at least 25 minutes.
  • Over medium high heat, drizzle a little bit of olive oil in a skillet and allow the oil to get hot.
  • Place the chicken in the skillet & allow it to cook until it at least reaches 165°F.
  • Season the chicken with seasoned black pepper, garlic & herb, and onion & herb seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Flip the chicken throughout the cooking time, so that it gets a nice sear. (Note: you can brown the chicken stove top & finish cooking in the oven if you like)
  • Use a thermometer to check for doneness, then set the chicken to the side. Fully cooked chicken will reach reaches 165°F.

Fettuccine Alfredo:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat, then cook the fettuccine pasta until al dente. Drain the pasta once done.
  • Add the butter to a saucepan or pot over medium high heat and allow the butter to melt.
  • Pour in the whipping cream, mozzarella & Parmesan cheese. Allow the cheese to melt and give the sauce a nice stir.
  • Season the sauce with the Seasoned black pepper, Onion & Herb, and Garlic & Herb for taste. Do a taste test and make any adjustments if needed.
  • Once the sauce is to your liking, toss in the fettuccine noodles and coat with the sauce.
  • Serve the chicken over the Alfredo fettuccine noodles.
  • Pair with garlic bread & a nice salad, enjoy!
